Farraway Quicksilver (Laddie) is an athletic, bold, intelligent young horse who has just begun his career as an eventer. He is smart to fences and has the Irish “fifth-leg” making him a fun ride cross country. He will likely show hunter/jumper towards the end of the year also. He is a FUN horse to ride. Always game for an adventure. Forward going yet light in the mouth. A solid all-round riding horse.
All inspected Irish Draught stallions have a linear profile score sheet:
Laddie is by Fast Silver, who’s Dam, Fast Woman was the only mare to win the prestigious Kerrygold Championship a record 4 times. She also won the Avonmore Slieve Bloom Irish Draught Championship twice, and was 1991 National Draught Show Supreme Champion.
Fast Silver is a Class One Stallion with special merits in showjumping and showing.
About Farraway Quicksilver
Laddie is a bold and athletic riding horse. He looks at nothing and is afraid of nothing. He has proven himself as a bold and brave cross country horse already. He is an in-your-pocket personality and so far all of his offspring will be the same. This is the horse to breed to for confidence and personality.
You can keep up with Laddie’s progress on our Farraway Stud Facebook page and my personal facebook page (Tabitha Farrar).
